Birds cause great damage with their secretions, feathers and contact. Many birds from our environment (especially pigeons) have adapted to life in the human environment and often visit various places in search of food, which includes garbage dumps, but also our housing and work facilities. As a result, they can carry a large number of harmful microorganisms on their body, causes over 60 human diseases (avian influenza, Q-fever, salmonellosis, avian tuberculosis, etc.) as well as a large number of ectoparasites (ticks, chewing lice, bird lice or biting lice [mallophaga]). and health risk.

A major problem with most existing physical bird control methods is that birds adapt very quickly to systems characterized by the existence of a “false threat”. Namely, if the threat is not real and does not really endanger the birds, they will, over time and acquired experience, simply ignore the existing protection systems. Therefore, the best solution was to prevent birds from entering buildings or certain areas. This is best achieved by mechanical methods, such as nets and other barriers, which completely block access for birds. In addition, another way is to modify the behaviour of birds by using different systems with low current voltage, which birds cannot get used to, as well as the use of repellents. From all the above, the presence of birds should not be taken lightly, and solving this problem must be tackled seriously and systematically. In our company, we plan the bird protection program in accordance with the individual needs of the client and the conditions in the facility itself. Before making the program, it is necessary to determine all the facts, in order to ensure that the applied measures have the right effect.
